The story behind KidLoxx
The idea for KidLoxx wasn’t born in an office or a brainstorming session – it was born on my living room floor, as I chased after my toddler who was just opening yet another kitchen cupboard with a grin from ear to ear.
How an open kitchen cupboard led to a safe idea
As a mother of two young children, I know better than anyone how curious, quick, and unpredictable they can be. One second of inattention, and they've opened a drawer full of sharp knives or cleaning products—things that, as a parent, immediately make you think: how can I better protect this?
I'd tried everything: store-bought child safety locks, adhesive hooks, rubber strips—some worked briefly, others came loose, or were simply frustrating to use. And worst of all? Many solutions looked like they'd come straight from a hospital: bulky, plastic, white, and completely incompatible with our interior. Why did safety have to be so... ugly?
I thought: there has to be a different way.

Together with a small team of designers and parents, we developed stylish, smart, and secure furniture locks that really work – tested by our own children (literally) and designed with an eye for detail, ease of use, and design.
KidLoxx is more than a product. It's a real-life solution, created by a parent who knows what it's like to protect their children without turning their entire house into a fortress.
With KidLoxx, I want to give parents worldwide some peace, security and confidence back – in their home, and in their parenting.
